All right I just love hearing everyone's opinion of who is going to win when it comes to playoffs, and how they see things falling. I want to hear what everyone else says and here is mine.

Rays are going to top who ever wins the central. I say in either a sweep or three games to one.

Red Sox-Angels

Sox win Game 1 (Lester has impressive Game 1)

Angels win Game 2

Angels win Game 3 (Unless Beckett's injury, doesn't bother him for the simple fact he's somethign else in the playoffs)

Sox win Game 4 (Lester goes 2-0, 3-0 lifetime in postseason; Make us forget all about Beckett's injury)

Sox win Game 5 ( Dice-K is going to come through big time)

Here is mine

Game 1- sox win by a small margin because Lester pitches great.

Game 2- sox win because of the offense because we jump all over their pitcher and Dice-K pitches great.

Game 3- Angels win Beckett is not himself and is just not good.

Game 4- Sox win Byrd or Wake pitch great and we win.

ALCS here we come. BTW Monday- Lester, Tues Dice-k, Wendsday- Beckett ( I dont think hes hurt).

Red Sox win Game 3 and 4

I say the Rays will sweep the Twins or White Sox(whoever wins that division).

For the Sox-Angels series:

Game 1-Angels take this...maybe6to5.

Game 2-We come back with a W, but it will be a close one(maybe a ninth-inning at bat by Papi will decide it...)

Game3-We win again in Boston.Beckett will do alright...maybe giving up 3 runs.

Game4-Dice-k outduels Lackey and we win the series!!

I know a lot of people will disagree...saying it won't be that easy beating the Angels...but won't it?? Maybe my predictions aren't accurate...considering I am a Sox fan...giving them an edge without even thinking it...while trying to predict a winner in the Dodgers-Cubs series may be more accurate because they are neutral. That is just what I think could happen... feel free to disagree.

(By the way...that Dodgers-Cubs series...I'm liking the Cubbies in that one,3 games to2.)

dodgers surprises baseball and knock out the cubs in the first round.....then beat milwaukee in game 6.

World Series......The battle of LA.....MannyWood!!!!!!!!!....K-Rods worse nightmare lol.

have to agree, as much as I hate to.  The angels are too deep, and the sox are a hurting team right now.  Too many holes offensively.  Will have to go to the bull pen early and often and I don't think they will have the guns to keep the angels down.  Angels in four, boo hoo.

Cubs will get to the WS and the angels will beat then in six.  Hope I'm wrong and we get a Cubs Sox WS, but can't see it happening, but in a short series, you never know.

Lol... good point redsoxchic. Predictions are basically just guesses. Even though I don't believe in jinxes... still it is better to look at reality instead of living in fantasy land (cough cough... Dodger fans).

Focusing one game at a time is the best thing to do.

No vince... I don't think this will be the Cubbies year... I will just complete my playoff prediction here (even though as redsoxchic pointed out... it doesn't mean much.)
