Auction Cause and the US Olympic Committee have teamed up to present 3 rare Olympics-related eBay auctions to benefit the Donna Wheeler Foundation - an organization founded by 2-time Olympic Skier and NFL player Jeremy Bloom which grants lifelong wishes to low-income seniors.
In the Olympic Training Experience Auction, 1 lucky winner and 3 guests will be given a grand tour of the US Olympic Training Complex in Colorado Springs, CO by a guide from the US Olympic Committee. This includes not only the standard tour which the public can take, but also special access to areas of the facility that are restricted to the public. During their visit, which will occur at the time of the winner's choosing, the winner and guests will get to meet and observe an Olympic hopeful athlete in training. (Which athlete and sport will be determined by the date the winner chooses to take the tour.) The auction prize also includes lunch for 4 in the USOTC dining hall, and digital photos of their experience. The prize does not include transportation to the facility or hotel accommodations.
Another auction Auction Cause is heading up for the Donna Wheeler Foundation includes one for an autographed Everlast boxing glove signed by the US Olympic boxing team. Each signature includes the boxer's fighting weight. The third auction is for a signed volleyball and jersey from the US Olympic Women's Indoor Volleyball Team. (Click links for details.)
